VIA HANSA & BOREALIS AT THE ITB 2018 IN BERLIN

Via Hansa & Borealis will participate at the ITB 2018 in Berlin from March 7th till 9th. We will again be present with our own stand in Hall 18, stand no. 111b. We will be delighted to meet you and introduce our leisure and MICE products in the Baltic countries, Scandinavia, Finland, Russia, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and Mongolia as well as our related brands BALTICVISION, World of Borealis, Unique Hotels and Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa. It is a great opportunity for us and our customers to discuss possibility to consolidate more business with the largest inbound company in North Europe and to discuss how to make more online business with us, as we are installing a new technological platform on www.seagull-online.com. There will also be a special destination presentation of Scandinavia on March 8th to highlight the possibilities for leisure and MICE travellers in the Nordic countries as far as Iceland all year round.

NEW HOTELS IN VILNIUS

The hotel scene in Vilnius is continuously changing and there are several openings expected already this year. The new four-star Hotel Courtyard Vilnius with 199 guest rooms is planning to open in spring. Another opening in spring is scheduled for the new five-star Design Hotel Pacai, currently finalizing all the reconstruction works in a stunning Baroque palace, the former residence of Lithuanian noble family Pacai dating back to 1677 and located in the Old Town of Vilnius. The hotel will have 104 design guest rooms. Radisson Blue Hotel Lietuva is planning the opening of the new wing with 165 guest rooms in summer and the opening of the three-star Hotel Ibis with 164 guest rooms is scheduled for September. WINTER DESTINATION COPENHAGEN

The number of visitors in Copenhagen in the winter season has almost doubled over the last decade. The Danish capital - in the winter both cool and romantic- is gaining a strong reputation as a winter destination for both leisure and corporate travellers. Visitors are attracted by Copenhagen’s many fashion and design shops, the vibrant cultural scene as well as by its reputation for being the gastro capital of Europe. The famous Tivoli Park is open also in the wither season for the whole Christmas period and this year also in February.
