VIA HANSA CELEBRATING IN TALLINN & HELSINKI
Via Hansa recently celebrated its 32nd anniversary with a corporate event in the two Baltic Sea capitals, Helsinki and Tallinn. Both cities have undergone significant changes over the past decades. New districts have emerged or been redeveloped, and there is now a wide range of new and modern hotels, conference facilities, restaurants, museums, and activity centres in both destinations. In particular, the harbour areas of both cities have seen impressive redevelopment.
The similarities and differences between the two cities are striking, making their combination especially interesting and attractive. One of the highlights of this combination is the two-hour sea voyage between the cities. With scenic views of the skylines of both cities, the Gulf of Finland, and the Helsinki Archipelago, as well as completely new and modern terminals on both sides and state-of-the-art ferries like Tallink Silja Line MS MyStar and MS MegaStar, this journey becomes an unforgettable experience. The Via Hansa event included visits to new and vibrant areas in Tallinn, such as the Rotermann Quarter, the trendy Telliskivi Creative City and Kalamaja districts, and the redeveloped Noblessner Harbour. In Helsinki, highlights included the central public library and cultural hub of Helsinki, Oodi Library, the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as the historic Suomenlinna sea fortress. The combined tour of Tallinn and Helsinki is becoming one of the most popular products of Via Hansa, and we recommend it for FIT travellers, leisure groups, and MICE clients alike.
