The most beautiful love story in the world? No, we are not talking about Romeo and Juliet. We are talking about Lithuanians’ love for Pink Soup. This iconic soup, made from kefir and beetroot, is bright, fresh, and recognisable at first glance. It is not just a soup – it is a way of life.
Returning for the fourth time, Vilnius recently celebrated Pink Soup Fest, a festival that attracted more than 100,000 fans. Once again, the city turned completely pink. The festival was celebrated throughout the entire city, featuring memorable entertainment, flavour-packed experiences, sports games, and many other pink-themed activities, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere. The main festival area is located near the White Bridge, right across from the Radisson Blu Lietuva Hotel, while evening concerts take place each night in Town Hall Square.
The love story continues. The festival has now become an annual tradition, and Pink Soup Fest 2027 will, as usual, take place on the last weekend of May, from May 28–30, 2027.
