LITHUANIA – THE NEW FRONTIER OF MICHELIN

MICHELIN has recently released the second edition of its Guide for Lithuania. All four restaurants in Vilnius that were awarded a MICHELIN Star last year — Restaurant Demo, Restaurant Džiaugsmas, Restaurant Nineteen18, and Restaurant Pas Mus — have retained their one-star status. The new edition also features eight Bib Gourmand restaurants (double the number from last year), two Green Star restaurants, and 37 other recommended establishments. The increase in Bib Gourmand recognitions highlights the growing accessibility and quality of Lithuanian gastronomy. Lithuanian haute cuisine is both affordable and accessible to locals and visitors alike.

The continued recognition by MICHELIN is a testament to the remarkable progress of Lithuania’s culinary scene in recent years, reaffirming the country’s position as an emerging culinary destination — with a strong emphasis on sustainability and value for money. Via Hansa & Borealis is pleased to offer a dedicated Gourmet Program to Lithuania or to incorporate some of the country’s outstanding restaurants into existing travel itineraries.
