Via Hansa & Borealis directors and managers from the Baltic countries, Russia and Poland recently met for a meeting in Malta to discuss the company’s activities on the Baltic, Russian and Polish destinations and the strategy for the development of the company in the years 2020-2022. The lively discussions were concentrating on digitalization, globalization, sustainability and innovation. To conclude the initial phase of the merger of the two companies, Via Hansa & Borealis is launching a new corporate identity by November this year with new logo, new web-site and a new development strategy, where sustainability and innovation will be the main focusses. The meeting discussed the technological renewal of the company and decided to continue investments into its technological platform to give customers access to more digitalized solutions and reviewed an ambitious marketing plan to bring the company and its products out to all corners of the world, in particular a larger investment in the South East Asian markets with a Via Hansa & Borealis Sales Office in Kuala Lumpur from 01.11.2029 is being finalized.
In spite of problems on its Latin American destinations, the company has had a successful year, which has seen a stable growth in most areas. The turnover has following the record year in 2018 further grown with ca. 8% in the first nine months of 2019 and the company remains optimistic about the future.
