A newly built Liivarand SPA Hotel was opened beginning of September in Narva-Jõesuu, a resort town on the coast of the Gulf of Finland, only 12 kilometres from Narva. The hotel has totally 70 cozy guest rooms, free wi-fi, Italian style restaurant, conference centre and banquet room.

Estonia has begun its 6-month term of chairing the Council of the EU on 1st of July 2017 and more than 260 international events will take place during the period, with the total combined attendance estimated at 25,000 delegates. Most conferences will be held in Tallinn and the busiest meeting months will be July, September and October.

The Centennial Hotel Tallinn, a brand new four star concept hotel developed by Via Hansa, is scheduled to open on August 15th. The new hotel will have 64 standard rooms, 8 superior rooms and 11 ZEN deluxe rooms, all-day dining Restaurant “100” for 100 guests and three conference rooms with natural light for 25-75 delegates as well as Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The new three-star Hotel Sophia has been opened in Tartu beginning of April. It belongs to Tartu Hotels group together with four-star Hotel London and three-star superior Hotel Pallas. The new hotel is located just 15 minutes drive to city centre, next to the shopping centre Lõunakeskus - the biggest shopping and recreational centre in South Estonia.
