CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS IN BALTIC COUNTRIES

CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS IN BALTIC COUNTRIES
07.06.2017

2018 is the year of celebration for all three Baltic countries. In 1918 Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania declared their statehood and independence. Lithuania will celebrate its birthday on 16th February, Estonia on 24th February and Latvia on 18th November in 2018. Celebration of the centennial anniversaries has already started, but the main events will take place next year, including the Song and Dance Festival in Latvia and Lithuania in the beginning of July and the international Festival Europa Cantat in Tallinn in end of July.

Via Hansa is celebrating the centennial anniversary of the independence of the three Baltic countries by opening a new 4-star concept hotel in the centre of Tallinn in August 2017, the Centennial Hotel Tallinn. The unique hotel is reflecting the history of Estonia for the last 100 years and is a testament to what Estonia and the Baltic countries have become today 25 years after regaining freedom and independence in 1991.

We invite you to join the centennial celebrations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and visit these beautiful countries to explore the last hidden treasures of Europe! For more information and program ideas, please look our centennial anniversary offers on www.viahansa.com.
